It’s the middle of summer, the kids are out of school, your family vacation is over and it’s hot enough to fry eggs on the pavement. You want your kids to have fun, maybe do something creative or educational, but you’ve already been to the pool a thousand times and it’s JUST TOO HOT for them to stay outside all day.
Wouldn’t it be nice to find someplace where both you AND your kids could spend some quality time together in a friendly, cool and comfortable setting? A place everyone could explore together and discover new worlds around every corner? A place that is entertaining for the whole family but won’t break any budget?
Have we got a deal for you!
In addition to being a great used bookstore for adults, Recycled Reads is also a great source of education and entertainment for children of all ages. As noted in the July issue of ParentWise Austin Magazine [free to download and available at libraries around town], “Recycled Reads has a large children’s section which is organized in much the same way as the library, with small tables, chairs and a play mat for the kids”.
Of course, children are welcome throughout the store and many parents use this as an opportunity to share the joys of reading with their kids. As the old saying goes, “A family that reads together succeeds together”. [OK, I just made that up – but you have to admit it sounds good -and- makes sense!]
So why not take a few minutes out of your hectic weekday or weekend schedule, bring the whole family and visit us at Recycled Reads? You can beat the heat but you just can’t beat our prices!
